NORTH51 Conference launches for 2023

Marking a transition year as it changes hands to an industry-led group.

Welcome back to NORTH51!

This year marks a transition year for NORTH51 as it moves into the hands of an industry-led group. “We are really excited to be bringing NORTH51 back to Banff in 2023. For me, this conference has always been about connecting leaders and building the future. I love the diverse group of people that come to NORTH51, and the wide variety of experiences they share. I’m especially excited to host this edition in my new role at GNO-SYS and with our friends Sparkgeo.”, says 2023 co-chair Jonathan Neufeld.

This year’s theme is Alchemy and focuses NORTH51 on the ways in which geospatial can create or extract value from the tremendous amounts of data available. As the ability to collect data grows our systems, thinking, and companies need to adapt to the accompanying challenges and realities.  Through a series of panels, keynotes, and speakers we will explore the theme of Alchemy with a view to the evolution of geospatial technology and businesses.

The fifth annual NORTH51 Conference takes place at the Rimrock Resort in Banff on May 10-12, 2023, and features keynotes, presentations, panels, and invaluable networking opportunities. The speakers and presenters at NORTH51 bring a unique and wide-ranging perspective as their share emerging ideas, technology breakthroughs, and their predictions about where the future will take us. Attracting over 100 leaders from across Canada, the USA, and internationally NORTH51 attendees sit at the intersection of high technology knowledge and high strategic knowledge. This mix of attendees leads to engaging conversations and networking opportunities.
